My Favorite Place -- Caribbean Cruises

The first cruise we sailed on was in 2007.  This was our honeymoon cruise and it was 1 week long.  We sailed out of Galveston, TX and went to Cozumel, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman.

The second cruise we sailed on was in 2010.  We took our son for his 16th birthday.  We flew to Florida and sailed to Nassau, Bahamas.  This was a 3-day weekend cruise.

    Oh, what fun pictures, Krista!!! I love the idea of taking a cooking class on a cruise! I've never been on a cruise before, but I love being on the water (I had a friend in San Francisco who used to take people sailing on San Francisco Bay - that was awesome!). And listen, we have a Jamaica unit coming up in class later this semester: some wild Anansi-the-trickster stories, told in actual Jamaican dialect. You will probably have a good idea of what that really sounds like from your trip there! I haven't been to Jamaica, but I sure do love those Anansi stories! :-)
